It was only yesterday that I wrote about Frikstailers, but here I am posting photos from the show last night! El G and Frikstailers (pronounced Freakstylers) killed it and had everyone sweaty and dancing at this semi-hidden bar in Silverlake. Whether dropping classic Reggaeton tracks, hypnotizing hip-hop beats, or improvising entire songs, Frikstailers captivated all of us until 2 am. They threw glitter, did Dance Dance Revolution (see photos), sprayed silly string, and did a total of 3 encores (after we kept screaming, “Otra! Otra!”). They’re doing shows in Seattle tonight, Brooklyn on Friday, Pittsburgh on Saturday, and Cambridge on Monday – don’t miss out!
